2-3 years old ~ Flexible Entry Age
Pathfinder - [path-fahyn-der] (noun) a person who finds or makes a path, way, route, etc., especially through a previously unexplored or untraveled wilderness.
While we wouldn't describe our school as "the wilderness," we do offer new and exciting ways for our 2-3 year-olds to find their own territory, make that all important separation from home and family, and forge new friendships while they discover their strengths in learning.
Our main focus for the Pathfinders is socialization. We introduce circle time, sharing, crafts and songs. The children build confidence through parallel play. As the year progresses, we witness the child’s growth as they turn from parallel play to cooperative play and friendships develop. We encourage self-awareness and independent growth. We have free play as well as an introduction to colors, shapes, name recognition, and the alphabet.
